This Cusco Heat shield will help reduce the heat that constantly radiates from the turbo to the intercooler on the WRX and STi. Once enough heat has entered into the intercooler, it is no longer effective, and may cause detonation under high boost. This Heat Shield mounts onto factory brackets, uses factory hardware, is made to accommodate larger downpipes, and will greatly reduce the amount of heat that is allowed to radiate into the intercooler.
