GFB STi Adjustable-Throw Short Shifter – THE shortest throw shifter on the market. A GFB short shifter reduces the amount of shift throw from gate-to-gate, and better still, allows you to choose how great that reduction is. The gearstick remains the same height, but shift feel is improved with a more direct and "race car" action. We now offer our shifter in two levels of throw reduction, from mild to wild! The established 4002 kit is our most extreme throw-reduction shifter. This kit includes our unique linkage clamp arrangement that allows a massive throw reduction of up to 40%, which equates to a tiny 25mm per gate! Don’t be fooled by similar (or even greater) claims of such dramatic throw reduction, the 4002 Short Shifter IS the shortest-throw kit you can bolt on to your car!

The newly introduced 4003 kit allows adjustable throw reduction of about 20%, which is similar to Subaru's own aftermarket STi shifter, but about 1/3 of the price! The best part is, you can easily upgrade this kit to the 4002 spec any time you like with the addition of the linkage clamp which is available separately (part # 4202).

Importantly, both kits come with another unique feature - a specially designed pin removal/installation tool - it may not sound very special, but during installation you'll thank us for including it! It's this level of attention-to-detail that sets a GFB shifter apart from the rest.
